Good
Morning dear students;
I hope you had a wonderful weekend
and when you woke up early this morning, you took a deep breath and said with a
lot of excitement....
THANK
GOD IT’S ANOTHER MONDAY MORNING....!
THE
START OF ANOTHER WONDERFUL SCHOOL WEEK.....!.......
I
can hear some of you thinking...!
Sir,
you are just saying that because you don’t know...!
And
if I had the opportunity to interview some of you about how you feel, I’m very
sure that the answers will be summarised in the following words;
I HATE MONDAYS....!
In today’s write-up, I am going to try
to reveal to you how important YOUR WORDS ARE... to your success.
Dear students, our words are like
SEEDS........ when we speak something OUT LOUD, we GIVE LIFE to what we are
saying and the more we say it, THE MORE REAL IT BECOMES.
In
fact it is said that: “Our lives move in the direction of our
words”.
I can remember that in my previous
write-up, I told you that
Our
Thoughts grow into Words, Our Words grow Beliefs, and Our Beliefs grow into
Actions.
I
urged you to nourish your mind with the things you will like to hear or see
each time you think...... Another very
important thing I said was that you should NURTURE any bit of success or
positive thought in your mind, in order to make it grow bigger and become a
reality.
One very effective way
of doing that is by
SPEAKING OUT LOUD..!
SPEAK positive words and PLANT positive
thoughts into your mind in order to HARVEST positive ideas and actions!
The more you say it,
the more it becomes a reality.
Use
this basic principle for your subjects at school....
If you regularly FEED your mind
with a subject the previous night by reading and revising and come to school
the next day and tell as many of your friends as possible about what you read,
you will become an expert in that subject in no time...!
The
sad thing is that many of us have unconsciously used the wrong words for so
long that it has gradually shaped our reality and as we continue to us them,
they continue to take us down the drain...
Let
me give you a specific example....... In my secondary and high school days, we
used to say these words and even to date, I still here it being said.....! And the more it is being said, the more it is
becoming a reality....
I’m talking about the words;
I
HATE MATHS!
MATHS
IS DIFFICULT!
I
WILL NEVER PASS MATHS!
THESE WORDS ALONE are accountable for the poor
results recorded by the subject at all levels!
In fact, even nursery school kids are already picking it up like a
common cold!
If you use words like
that for most of your subjects at school,
HOW DO YOU INTEND TO
SUCCEED?
Proverbs
6:2 (of the King James Bible), says
“Thou art snared
with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth”
This
means in some way that we are trapped and affected by THE THINGS WE SAY.
Rudyard
Kipling said;
“Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used
by mankind”.
I strongly believe that the results in mathematics
will greatly improve if students accept to believe and repeat as many times as
possible the following words:
I
LOVE MATHS!
MATHS
IS VERY EASY!
I
WILL NEVER FAIL MATHS!
Dear
students, this is just 1 out of the million other NEGATIVE DECLARATIONS we use Every
Hour!
I
am encouraging you as from today, to consciously use POSITIVE DECLARATIONS to
improve upon your attitude in particular and your success in general. In my next write-up, I will be giving you
more ways by which you can use your words to gradually improve upon your
attitude, but for now, I am challenging you to start declaring to yourself the
following as often as possible...
I
am smart, I am very intelligent, I love all my subjects especially maths, I am
happy, I am fantastic, Enthusiastic and motivated, I am fearfully and
wonderfully made, I will never fail again,
IN JESUS’ NAME,
AMEN.
