INTENTIONAL SUCCESS VOL. 15

MAKE A RESOLUTION!
(Take action and make each day count!)
Special New Year edition for 1st January 2016 by Ndimofor Aretas
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
            Did you hear that?  A NEW YEAR...!  Another God given opportunity!
I feel very privileged to be among the chosen ones to see the start of yet another year!  You too should be.  I heard of a lot of deaths and accidents, but I am very grateful that I am still able to be here to give you deliver my talks.
Imagine that you had a daily amount of 43,200 frs which you must spend completely and you are not supposed to leave a franc because it will be taken back!
What will you do?  I am sure you will develop ways to exhaust that money to the last franc!  For some people, it is much and for others it is too small!  All depending on WHAT they have in mind.
This is the amount of daylight time that you have to spend each day!  Yes you have about 43,200 seconds of daylight hours each day to exhaust!  WHAT are you going to do to make sure that each day counts this year?
Last night, I thought all about 2015.  I tried to remember all my achievements, all that God had inspired me to do.  I also reflected upon my mistakes and this was how I came up with my NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS.
            Have you made yours?  If not, it is not too late..... START NOW... MAKE EACH DAY COUNT!
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR YOUR SUCCESS THIS 2016…..?
Remember that in my first write up, I said it is not enough to say that you have it in your head….NO….
WRITE IT DOWN….!  Something happens when you get serious enough to write down your goals.  Write them down and put them in front of you… on your wall or on your mirror at home or on the first page of your book….!
Set clear targets for this New year;  The clearer the goals and objectives, the higher the probability for you to attain them.
Learn from the mistakes you made last year!  Be motivated by your achievements so far!
Don’t be discouraged by your blunders!  Pick up yourself and say:
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it
(Psalms: 118:24 King James)
This New Year is like a new blank book.  You have the pen and the responsibility of filling up the pages.
Remember that the very fact that you are still alive means that there is something you still have to accomplish... God still has a PURPOSE for you; it is your duty to find out what it is...  You and no one else can do it!  Something or somebody somewhere is waiting for you to HAPPEN to it....!
There are tests and exams and classroom activities and clubs and national day celebrations that are waiting for you to happen to them!  How do you intend to do that?
Here are a few things I did before I made plans for the New Year.  I believe they will also be of great help to you;
1.      I started by asking for God’s FORGIVENESS and then FORGIVING both myself and others; for if you want God’s forgiveness then you should be ready to forgive others (Mat. 6:14) and when you forgive yourself, you mind is free.
2.      Next I ASSUMED TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY over my actions and thoughts; I resolved not to justify, rationalize or blame others for what is happening to me.  I said to myself that “I am responsible!”
3.      I promised myself to always listen to God; because I believe He knows it all and He has plans to prosper me this year.
The above steps where enough to free my mind from negativity and open up the doors to all my objectives for the New Year.  The next step is setting goals, planning and implementing the plan.  That will be the subject of my next write – up.
For now, just remember that you are only limited by your imagination because there is no limit to what you can.
Even if you don’t see how possible it will be, just begin in Faith and the God who put that Good dream in your heart will do extraordinary miracles to see you through as He says in Phil.1:6.
Decide what you want to achieve this year, find out what it will take for you to achieve it and then start doing it.  Remember that you are going to face challenges and adversity; be fast to learn the lessons and continue positively.  Know that;
“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out”.  Robert Collier
Above all remember that;
God created human beings, making them to be like himself (Gen 1:27) and so you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and therefore can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil. 4:13).
Therefore, make your NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION, start acting on it now and make each day count.  As you do that, the Lord will guide your step.
IN JESUS’ NAME,
AMEN.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 !!!
